Fly into O’Hare not Midway

The Hyatt is so close to O’Hare (ORD) and so far from Midway Airport, so keep that in mind when booking flights. Amo will post the best rates he discovers from major cities on facebook so LIKE our page, AYF Olympics.  Just think- your very own mini-travel agent. Abrees, Amo!

Some convenient features of the Hyatt Regency O’Hare include:

  • GUEST ROOM TVs. Every guest room just got a brand new 65 inch HD TV installed. Everyone comments when they come in. Nothing like a little “me” time to unwind over your favorite show on a giant TV.
  • COMFORT IN STYLE. Brand new pillow top mattresses are in all the rooms. Room features include a hair dryer, the HD TV, iron board, iron, coffee maker, mini fridge, new illuminated light-up bathroom mirrors, toiletries, option to have a balcony room (for an extra fee)
  • NO NOISE. Soundproof windows were also newly installed.
  • PEACEFUL NOISE. There is a quality Noise Machine in each room (which gives off the sound of water or rain, etc. to help you sleep).
  • ALL DANCES IN HOTEL. All the dances are conveniently located inside the hotel
  • AYF BUS SHUTTLE. Our AYF bus shuttle will leave from the Hyatt to all sporting events

Three onsite dining options: First, there’s a bar lounge with appetizers and a full dinner menu, the second restaurant offers a healthy American grill and a huge massive full breakfast buffet, yogurt bar, and lunch. The third is a 24-hour coffee shop that serves Starbucks, plus serve express, hot made-to-order meals (if you don’t want to sit down in the restaurant, you can grab a salad, soda pop, etc – which can be picked up or delivered to your room directly).
  • THIS HYATT REGENCY IS GORGEOUS. It has a unique John Portman design, the lobby is massive, the atrium is open, and live plants line the entire floor of the atrium.

  • PURPLE BUS FROM AIRPORT. The 24-hour Hyatt Regency Purple O’Hare branded Shuttle from O’Hare Airport is free and runs every 15 minutes. The purple shuttle picks up at the bus and shuttle center or Door 1 at the airport. It does not go to Midway Airport so you want to fly into O’Hare Airport.
  • CLOSE TO AIRPORT. The hotel is one mile away from O’Hare Airport
  • LARGEST AND BEST. Hyatt Regency O’Hare is the largest in the entire region – they have 1,000 rooms and a gorgeous open atrium. It is like a mini village!
  • NO UBERS NEEDED. The Hyatt is walking distance from the Parkway Bank Entertainment District which features dining, entertainment, bowling, indoor sky diving, a huge fashion outlet mall and more.
  • FINE DINING. Across the street from the Hyatt are fine dining restaurants: Morton’s Steakhouse, Carlucci’s, Capital Grille, Gibson’s and more.
  • SHUTTLE AROUND TOWN. The city of Rosemont also has a shuttle that takes guests to Fashion Outlets, Parkway Bank Entertainment district and the Train Blue Line that takes you into the city
  • CTA TRAIN TO DOWNTOWN. The Chicago Transit Association (CTA) Blue Line train to downtown Chicago is an 8 minute walk to the train station or take the free Rosemont IL PACE shuttle which comes to the front of the Hyatt.
