City Bus

The Milwaukee County Transit system is the most affordable way to get from the Mitchell International Airport to the Hyatt Regency. Adult fare is $2.25, and children aged 6 – 11 ride for $1.10. Children under 6 ride free. This route runs every 15 minutes. You must have exact change, or you may purchase an M-card from the automated machines at the airport. This 40 minute direct (no transfers) bus trip will drop you off 2 blocks from the Hyatt Regency.

To use the Milwaukee County Transit System, exit the baggage claim area, and look for the route 80 (35th-Capitol-via Hopkins) bus stop sign. Take this route to 6th Street and Wells Street, then exit the bus. Walk one block east on Wells Street (under the convention center) to 4th Street. From there, walk one block north on 4th Street to W Kilbourn Avenue. The hotel will be on your right.

Riteway provides shuttle van service from the Mitchell International Airport to the Hyatt Regency. This is a shared shuttle, and the fair is $15 each way. Taxi

Taxi service from the Mitchell International Airport to the Hyatt Regency is approximately $32. This service is available via the taxi pickup station located outside of Baggage Claim 3. Cross the Baggage Claim roadway, and follow the signs to the taxi lane behind the rental car area.

Chicago O’Hare International Airport to Hyatt Regency Milwaukee

Coach USA

Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport is 78 miles from the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee. A Coach USA bus from Chicago O’Hare to downtown Milwaukee runs about $30 one-way and $55 round-trip.  The bus will take you from O’Hare to the downtown Milwaukee Amtrak station. The station is about 4 blocks from the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee. Coach USA will allow two free “child tickets” with one paid adult fare. The links below show the daily schedules in each direction.

Amtrak from Glenview, Chicago or Detroit

The Milwaukee Amtrak station is located about 4 blocks from the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee. Approximate fares from Glenview, IL, Chicago, IL, and Detroit, MI are as follows:

Glenview: $24 each way
Chicago: $25 each way
Detroit area: $52 – $77 each way, if you book the value fare.
